Best Diaper For Boys!

As a mom of 5 Boys, I offer my experience with disposable diapers.

I imagine myself having to wear diapers all the time and look for the best fit which I feel equals the best comfort. I have found that a great fit PLUS often changes equals no or minimal leaks.

In order to achieve a great fit you need to start with the correct size. I have found that the numbers on the box mean nothing! YOur babies height and frame size really determine which size your baby needs. It is usually a lot of trial and error but I have always purchased the next size well before my babies were actually the weight stated on the packaging.

Sagging, that is, when the crotch hangs down makes for a very uncomfortable diaper. Huggies supremes have the elastic in the back of the diaper which tends to hold the diaper up better, but I have discovered that there is so much padding between the legs that this style simply does not work for boys.

The wide stretchy sides that pampers cruisers have make achieving a perfect fit very easy! Although, sometimes I have to roll the back of the diaper back a bit to get that perfect fit. If pampers had a little bit of elastic in the back, they woudl be perfect! Also, the padding inside is trimmer in the crotch area making it not as bulky.

I also love the new woven liner. It is very soft. I don't know if it serves any other purpose but I feel better putting someithing soft and somewhat airy on my little baby.

I have tried Pampers Baby Dry, Huggies Baby Shaped and Supreme, Luvs, Walmart's Brand, and CVS premium. I am all about saving money where I can but I also want baby to be comfortable.

I have found all disposable diapers to be pretty much the same and no matter what brand you use, they all serve their purpose. With all the different types I have tried, I have never disliked any one enough to not use the entire pack. In fact, if I go to purchase diapers and there is an irrestible sale on another brand, I will purchase them and only buy a small pack of cruisers. I mix them up in our changing area and end up using both types. Sometimes I have three and four varieties mixed in there.

I do have to admit, the Pampers Cruisers are my first choice and always the ones I am reaching for first. I like the way they smell and especially the way they fit, even more now that Luca is up and Cruising around. They are the only ones I have found to not sag and shift with our toddler's many busy antics and movements.

I guess the "Plus" means "Plus 3 cents

So basically Pampers has done it again and released a new "bigger and better" value pack to disguise a price hike. The old pack was 148 diapers for ~$34, or $0.23/diaper. Now it's 160 for ~$42, or $0.26/diaper. It's a good thing cruisers are so much better than any other diaper out there, because I am put off by their deceptive marketing practices. I don't even mind the price hike, I think they are worth it.. it's the way they try to hide it that bothers me.

Edit, 5/5/06: They've since reduced the price to 37.87. This is much more in line with the old price, now $0.236/diaper. Glad to see my concerns were addressed!

The only diaper that doesn't leak on my kids

I've tried them all, and Pampers are the only brand that fits my kids' butts for some reason. The Cruisers are a little less bulky, which I prefer, although the kids don't seem to care. And with the Economy Pack, they're *almost* reasonably priced...

good in almost anything
I enjoy this flaxseed in everything I've tried it in so far. This product has a pleasant flavor, yet doesn't over power the foods I put it in. It helps to keep my digestive track regular. I ground it in my coffee grinder and just sprinkle it on just about everything. My husband and I love it in pancakes. I enjoy it in my cereals and even on ice cream. I especially like it mixed in my yogurt. I highly recommend this product.

Great source for omega3's!
It's best to buy flaxseeds as opposed to flaxseed oil or meal because you get more omega3. Since you are grinding the seeds yourself, the released omega 3 oils are at their freshest.

I recommend storing these flaxseeds in the freezer. You can keep them there after you open them as well. I grind 2 tablespoons in a coffee grinder and then add it to yogurt or a protein shake. Good stuff!

I ordered this flaxseed after reading how good ground flaxseed was for you. I ordered a grinder, both were reasonably priced, and the grinding was so easily accomplished. I have been using flaxseed daily since that time, and the claims made on the Internet have proven to be true. Burt's Bees Free Head to Toe Starter Kit

nice trial sizes
i bought one of these as a splurge for myself and have enjoyed the trial sizes and deciding which products to purchase when i run out. also bought one for my sixteen year old neice's birthday as she loves burt's bees. an enthusiastic "cool!" was the response. only issue with some of burt's bees products is some of the containers require hand application and the openings of the jars are somewhat small making it a little awkward. well worth it though.

I like that the products are natural. I just won't buy them again because of the smell.

Wonderful Products, Nice Assortment, Great Company Philosophy
Purchasing this sampler and trying these fantastic products has prompted me to buy several full-sized products of this line including the Lemon Butter Cuticle Crème, Peppermint Soap, Wild Lettuce Toner, Bees Wax Lip Balm, and Citrus Spice Soap. The Lemon Butter Cuticle Crème and Peppermint Soap are my favorites so far. Burt's Bees' commitment to recycling and using natural ingredients is consistent with my own philosophy. Having been a cosmetologist in my younger years, I looked up some of the unfamiliar ingredients in my Dictionary of Cosmetic Ingredients. As far as I can tell, everything is all natural and benign. The packaging is also very nice. The plastic containers have a high percentage of recycled content, and the soaps are paper wrapped. The company also uses some glass containers, which are not as bad for landfills as plastic. I am allergic to many products that contain perfumes and fragrances; and though Burt's Bees' products are scented, they are not overpowering. The scents are subtle and non-irritating. I will be using these products for many years to come.

Bob's Red Mill Old Country Style Muesli, 40-Ounce Packages (Pack of 4)

Yummy!
We get this product shipped to us every month. We usually don't have much left by the time the new shipment arrives. We really like this muesli. It's not sweet; it just tastes like muesli should. We put it on top of other cereal. Would definately recommend it to anyone who likes/wants to include some healthy food in their diet.

I love muesli, and this is a great one. Just be aware it contains flaxseed, which kind of overpowers all the other flavors, I like it but my husband (who typically likes muesli) didn't like it.

Tasty and serves it's purpose.
I'd prefer a ribeye for breakfast but this stuff is decent. Healthy and filling. It keeps me full until lunchtime. I dump milk on top and just eat it. One of these 40oz bags last about 10 days for me. I fill my cup about 2/3rds of the way up and top it off with milk. Soaking or not soaking doesn't matter to me but I do like my milk cold.
